Cross Counties Radio serves the Magna Park workforce, residents, commuters, and the business community in Lutterworth and surrounding areas. We provide news, information, and entertainment that connects people, supports local business, and brings our community together.
We broadcast a mix of chart music and classic hits from the past six decades, alongside speech content such as news, local updates, and community chat. Programming is in English, and we encourage members of our community to get involved in running and shaping the station, helping people learn new skills and gain real experience in broadcasting.
Cross Counties Radio is uniquely licensed at the point where three counties meet – Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, and Warwickshire. With our studio and 92FM transmitter based at Magna Park near the M1/M6 connector, and our 95.4FM transmitter near Blaby by the M1/M69 junction – together, these provide strong coverage right up to Leicester, Northampton, and Coventry.
Magna Park is Europe’s largest warehouse distribution centre with 50 buildings spanning 13 million sq. ft. The park is home to industry giants such as Amazon, ASDA, and DHL, solidifying its position as a leader in the logistics sector and with a growing 20,000 employees, Cross Counties Radio is piped into many of the warehouses on the park. We are also the station of choice for thousands of local and long-distance commuters who listen daily as they travel into the park.
